Today is the best day ever. HBP is nearly here, I'm going to out with friends tonight, I finished my scarf for the party, and George got a new job!

Hopes:
Snape is the HBP
Snape, Lupin, and McGonagall make it through the book alive
We see some serious injuries on both sides (who needs Moody anyway...)
No Lupin/Tonks
Harry/Luna
Voldemort stops being a Bond villain

Predictions:
Snape is the HBP (UK cover anyone?)
Lupin/Tonks (*sigh*)
Harry/Ginny (*double sigh*)
Albus is either killed or dying by the end of the book
Sirius has a portrait
Lucius will be out of Azkaban in no time

I think your last prediction is gonna be spot-on. And I, too, am holding out hope for Snape-as-HBP, though I think I've told you about a well-supported theory I read that suggested it might be Dean (which would also be awesome). I am getting pretty damn excited about this book... ;-)

I quite agree with a lot of those hopes, actually ^^; I definitely predict Dumbledore getting taken out of the action somehow (I guess he doesn't HAVE to die, but hey, why not?).
