Goodbye Caesar

My ferret Caesar died yesterday so I thought I'd post about it. It was very sudden, he just died in his sleep during the night. I found him in the morning right before I was supposed to leave for my friend's New Year gathering. I managed to take care of everything and then I had to break the news to y2kewel--probably the worst thing I've had to tell him. So yeah, that was the worst part. He took it hard, as expected, but we're dealing with it. I should be thankful that Caesar wasn't sick or anything but it's still a very sad event.

He was a sweetie most of the time. He had is moments of being a butt-head but that's why we loved him.

Sirius, our other ferret, is doing ok so far. We're trying to see if he'll need another companion or if he'll be alright alone. I'm not looking forward to replacing Caesar if Sirius decides he's lonely.

Yeah, we're still dealing with the loss but it's getting better. I'm still not sure how our other ferret is taking it but he seems alright.
