We are back! I hope everyone had a happy Halloween and managed to get lots of candy!

Thanks to all the people who wished us good luck and good wishes, .

The wedding was great and wasn’t that stressful. The weather took a bad turn for a bit but at least it didn’t rain. Nope, it decided to snow instead. Picture 10 people in sheer or no sleeves standing in 4 inches of snow in 30 degree weather. Needless to say, I’m going to have awesome pictures. :p

Speaking of pictures, let me take a sec to highly recommend our photographers. Mike Canete and his wife Tony are photographers who also arrange full weddings in and around Las Vegas. They have several packages available, I did the Mt. Charleston package with a Celtic ceremony, but they have others as well in you don’t want the mountain. If you are looking for a tasteful wedding at a great price check them out here. The ceremony was great, the photos are sure to be fantastic, and the flowers were gorgeous. I’ll post pictures when we get them so you can see what I mean.

We stayed at the Stratosphere hotel in Vegas which was nice if not a little out of the way from the rest of the hotels. If you have a car though it’ll be no problem. We were able to drive wherever we wanted but I suppose you could use their shuttle service if you don’t want to rent a car. This was my second trip there and I learned a lot more about the city this time around. For example: Ellis Island casino has a fantastic steak dinner if you can survive walking through the cigarette smoke filled casino, the pinball slots in Harrah’s pay well while the ones in the Venetian like to laugh at your stupidity, the Bellagio water show rocks, In-and-Out Burger really is as good as I remember, cute little old ladies will give you the Glare of Messy Death if you so much as look at their slot machines, craps and table blackjack are the crack, and the best video poker can be found at the Palms.

That’s really all the wedding stuff I can think of right now but I’ll post more if I think of something you all just have to know.

Now that we’re back it’s time to get into the groove again. I was right about the Nano thing right after a week in Vegas, this first day is worthless. :p I’ve spent the time checking e-mails and catching up at [livejournal.com profile] the_leaky. With any luck I might actually write something later tonight. *kisses*
