It's a good pain.
Dec. 12th, 2004 12:42 amYay! Outline and shading is done!
All I can say is that it hurt more than the tattoo on my arm but less than the one on my ankle. [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com], I just want you to know I just about died when he was doing the crossing of those tails. Ouch. Serious ouch (but I still love you).
This was after about 2 hours-- just the outline.

And here it is with the shading done (omg, I love my star!!!):

I'll go back and get the coloring done next month, February latest. Didn't I tell you it was the best thing ever?
The tattoo was done by Carlos at Black Rose Tattoo here in Tucson in case you were wondering. :D

Date: 2004-12-12 08:47 pm (UTC)This one took 3 hours to get to this point and probably another 2 for coloring later. My smaller tattoos took a lot less time so there's nothing to worry about. The little capricorn I have on my arm took 35 minutes, the arm band for it was an hour and something. I can't remember how long the Nefertiti took, but it was under 2 hours for sure.
So...
